Jeffrey Ries, Esquire focuses his practice in the following areas: municipal law and zoning, personal injury, criminal law, family law, civil litigation and bankruptcy. He has also been engaged in the representation of homeowners’ associations and municipal authorities.
As Mr. Ries maintains a general practice, he is able to understand the interplay between various areas of the law and the consequences associated with different courses of action. This experience is vitally important for authorities and municipalities that deal with a broad range of legal issues on a day-to-day basis.
Attorney Ries is from the South Hills of Pittsburgh. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (cum laude) from the University of Pittsburgh. Attorney Ries remained at the University of Pittsburgh, and through the School of Law, received his Juris Doctorate.
Mr. Ries is admitted to the highest court of the Commonwealth, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He also is admitted to the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Attorney Ries maintains membership in the Allegheny County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and also serves as Vice President of the Steel Valley Rotary.
